Alpha Chi Omega's national philanthropy is the prevention of domestic abuse. Zeta Eta honors this philanthropy by holding a yearly "TriStar Week" with events to raise money, running a yearly canned food drive to collect food for the local women's shelter, and periodically doing other activities (such as collecting clothes and books) for the local women's shelter.

Monday, October 19
Bake Sale outside Bradley Hall from 11-4pm
Come get delicious goodies and help out a good cause!

Tuesday, October 20
Candlelight Vigil on Olin Quad from 7-9pm
Look at the beautiful luminaries, hear the victim's stories, and understand the importance of helping

Wednesday, October 21
Subway Night from 4-8pm
Eat dinner at Subway and a portion of the proceeds will go to the Peoria's Women Shelter

Thursday, October 22
Cookout at the Alpha Chi Omega house from 4-8pm
$5 all you can eat burgers, hot dogs, chips, and more! Come support a good cause.

Sunday, October 25
Volleyball Tournament in Markin from 12-4pm
Get a team together and come ready to play! The winning team gets a portion of our raised funds towards their philanthropy

Spring 2009 canned food drive

Each spring, the sisters of Zeta Eta hold a canned food drive to collect food for our local women's shelter. This past spring was very successful!
